Camping at Cape Dissapointment

Camping at Cape Dissapointment was so much fun last weekend. The weather was so great. We are so lucky we had it becuase just one week earlier it was rain. It was windy, but it always is out on the coast. The temperature was close to 85 while we were there. Couldn't ask for better.

It was really great spending time with family. We always have a good time. The food was fantastic too. Hiking and chilling at the beach, what a wonderful weekend.

We are so happy everyone traveled there to spend the weekend together and THANKS to Angela for planning the whole thing.

Oyster Beach House

In April I was given employee of the month at Dockside Bistro. My reward for this was a night at Laurie's beach house (which I now clean). Anyway it is so beautiful. It is on Steamboat Island right outside of OLY. It has a beautiful view and a private beach with clam and oyster beds. I took a few pics, but definately as the weather gets better I will take more. This is what I get to see everytime I clean. I couldn't think of a better place to be cleaning. We are truly blessed with our life here in olympia, we have had a lot of great experiences and met some really great people. Although there are a lot of things we miss in Idaho, especially our family.

Procession of the Species

We went to The most fabulous and crazy parade we have ever been to. It is called procession of the species. It is done in celebration of earth day and began here in Oly and now there are processions all over the world. It was so crazy, there were amazing floats (non-motorized of course), dancers, people dressed up in all kinds of costumes, drummers and you name it. The boys really loved it. Before the parade began people brought a bunch of chalk and let everyone draw all over the road. It was really cool. Any way here are some photos. Just another thing to add to the uniqueness of oly.

Gabriel's Second

Gabriel-Jude's Birthday was so much fun. We had it at a local park in oly and invited the family and a couple of friends. He was having so much fun. He fell asleep as soon as he hit the carseat. It was a really great day. We are so thankful to everyone who was there for making his day really wonderful!

Heaven close to home

If we could have heaven close to home it would be here at watershed park. Just about two miles from our house is an amazing little paradise. Birds, little critters, flowers and much more make this one of our fav places in oly. We feel pretty lucky to have such a beautiful place practically in our back yard.
