Crazy Weather

Funny thing weather is. Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY. We went to the park and played in the sun (cold though). Then the very next day we woke up to snow. We didn't know it snowed much in Oly. But apparently it does. We enjoyed it.

Masen waited until he saw me open my eyes and he came and said "Mom, close your eyes I have a surprise I want to show you." so he walked me to the window at the top of the stairs and said "Open your eyes" I opened and saw snow on the ground and fluffy snowflakes flurrying around. He was so excited he threw on his snow clothes and went outside to slide around before breakfast. Gabriel had fun too, but he wasn't as eager to go out. Clarence on the other hand couldn't wait to romp around in the snow.

Things are great for us here. We are really feeling at home and school is going fantastically for Shaun. He is finding everything he dreams up at Evergreen. Our kind a place!

We are so excited for the holidays everday gets closer and more exciting. I hope you are as excited as we. We love everyone and wish you all a very happy holidays!!!!!!!

Decorating for Christmas

Christmas is here ALMOST! We had a lot of fun choosing a christmas tree from Hunter's Local Tree Farm. We got a beautiful Noble Fir. Probably the most beautiful tree we have had yet.
We all had a good time decorating the tree while Gabriel had a good time knocking them off. We listened to Christmas music and had a nice warm fire. The tree really makes it feel like Christmas. A feeling we all love and wait for all year long. It helps us think of all the great memories we have from when we were kids decorating the trees with our parents and brothers and sisters. All Good Memories.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and wonderful christmas season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winter time

The rain really fell the last few days. But we were warm and cozy in our house we barely even noticed there was so much rain until we saw the newspapers. A lot of Oly was flooded. Luckily, we weren't. We are realizing winter is here and we aren't so sure we are ready.
The Chehalis river south of us flooded I-5 and alot of homes. Pictures downloaded from the Olympian Newspaper.

It snowed Saturday which was pretty exciting. We got a whole 2 inches. YEAH!!!! It made us realize how much we really will miss the snow. At least it will be at home for us when we visit. Maybe that will be even better because, we won't have to deal with it for five or six months. JUST LOTS OF RAIN!!!!!!!!!

We are excited Christmas is around the corner. We had a lot of fun on Thanksgiving and we are looking forward to our first Christmas in OLY and Masen-Cruiz's 7TH Birthday. WOW, I can't believe he's already seven. How time flies by, next thing we know he will be graduating and Gabriel-Jude will be going into high school.

We cherish every day we have together, because every day is amazing in it's own special way.

LOTS OF LOVE FROM THE OLY CLAN!!!!!!!!!!

Life is good for us here in the northwest. Masen is doing well in school. He is reading 88 words per minute and a goal of 100. Gabriel is a little chatter box. He doesn't stop chattering and some of the chatter is turning into words. It is a lot of fun watching him grow. Shaun is doing well in school. He is finding it to be a little overwhelming at times. But he likes the Evergreen way. Michelle is enjoying work at the Bistro. We are all busy but we definitely miss all of our family everywhere. We look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas and Masen's birthday.

I have been fighting Shaun on starting a blog. I just thought I wouldn't have time but Shaun talked me into it. So here we are. I am much to tired to write anything more tonight, but believc me there will be more to come.
